From the observation the idea is born and from the idea the project develops, the founder and owner of Meccanica Grezza was born in Liguria, and he has trampled the stones of the beaches for all his childhood both in summer and in winter always surprising himself for the perfect or “particular” shape that the waves gave the pebbles in the surf.

After drawing the first model that has in its simplicity and proportions its strong point, it has felt the need to measure itself with something different, very complicated to be exact, a “competition” with nature; designing the MG02 Sea Steel required two years of drawings and continuous development with prototypes and details always evolving, in the end, the “perfect shape” was achieved … MG02 Sea Steel the dream realized in harmony with nature and the design.

Description

Casing and bottom in AISI 316L steel, diameter 46 mm, made from solid bar and hand-satined, bottom with flange-type seal with hexagon lock. Corona al 2 with exclusive “time valve” design made for electro-erosion and subsequent glazing.

Dial in matt black enamel with luminescent hour-markers and hours reported at 3,6,9 and 12 in red enamel and indication of the minutes in the bague.

Curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Strap in bull leather, “naturally tanned” tanned, natural dyed and hand-stitched by a skilful Tuscan craftsman with contrast waxed finish. Buckle in AISi steel machined from solid, hand-satined and personalized.

Automatic movement with indication of hours and seconds ETA 2824/2 11/2 ” ‘lines, 25 jewels, 28.800 vibrations / hour with customized charge rotor and “Cotè de Geneve” finishing. Power reserve 40 hours. Swiss Made branded watch and water resistant 50meters.
